Biography
I will be a tenure-track assistant professor at the Data Management Innovation Research Center, Nanjing University, Suzhou Campus. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Statistics and Data Science, Southern University of Science and Technology (July 2023–December 2025). My research expertise lies in Science of Science, Complex Networks, and Scientometrics. I am particularly interested in the career development paths of young scholars and the mechanisms of academic mentorship.
My recent research, published in Nature Human Behaviour, explores how academic group size influences mentee’s scientific career. This work has been highlighted by Nature News: “How a PhD student’s lab size affects their chance of future academic success”.
